I actually took this shot a few weeks ago because I thought...hoped...that it would be the last snow of the season. A few days later, I was sitting on a patio. Alas, this is also what I woke up to on Tuesday morning. Even if the snow misses us, the forecast doesn't hold out much hope for melting, and even less for patios.
Welcome. I just found your blog. It has surprised me not to find a DC daily photo blog before. Today's photo could pass as a Boston photo, with the un-Washington-like snow on the ground. Have fun taking pictures.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the welcome, Jack! To by surprise when I first moved to DC, it snows a lot! This year is snowed pretty frequently, but only about 6 inches or so from time to time. Last year, we got over 3 feet, three times! At one point I had over 5 feet of snow outside my house!
